I'll be volunteering at Vindolanda in Northumberland next year, YAAAY. Problem is it will be the first week of semester (27-31 July), boo.

As for accommodation there are sweet little cottages up there :)! it is a tad expensive though (300-500 pounds a week)

Volunteer work in Pompeii

I sent in my request, hopefully they'll reply soon enough!. It's in July of next year, so conveniently in the holidays :). Apparently experience is a must with archaeology, and I've always wanted to see Pompeii..


I bought a corset hmmm and it is not tacky like most, it's more historic I guess: light grey and rather simple. Dunno if I'll ever wear it, but it's pretty all the same :). IT ACTUALLY IS NOT PAINFUL.
